Have you ever thought about learning new languages? Do you want to meet new people and learn about another culture? Do you want to experience something new, while enjoying learning in a small group setting? Let us introduce to you our Online Fall-Spring Semesters.

Due to the unresolved situation, we will host our Online Fall-Spring Semesters via Zoom.

From the comfort of your home you will be immersed in all that Ukraine has to offer, sharing with you the treasure of our language and culture. Our professional instructors and well-organized team from the School of Ukrainian Language and Culture (SOUL) will guide you through this unforgettable experience.

Our smaller class sizes enable each student the ability to excel in learning, offering an individualized approach. We hosted our Online Fall-Spring Semesters for the first time in 2020, and the positive feedback surpassed our expectations. As a result, we are motivated to continue to offer students from around the world the opportunity to learn Ukrainian language and culture online! Here is some of the feedback our students shared with us:

Absolutely! This was a wonderful intensive program that helped me gain confidence in the Ukrainian language. I learned how to pronounce words more accurately which will help with my fluency when speaking and reading. The grammar portion was very useful because it has helped me start to recognize the patterns found in the Ukrainian language.” – Elizabeth Dokken

“Fantastic teachers, excellent materials and really enjoyable lessons. UCU’s online courses are by far the best language teaching I have ever experienced. They are also excellent value for money.” – Steve McKenna

So, what can you expect from our program? Our session will last 15 weeks with personalized classes designed for groups to learn and improve in Ukrainian, focusing on speaking, reading, and writing skills. You can select between a standard level of intensity (two hours per day), or an intensive level (four hours per day). Throughout the program classes will feature lectures on various themes including history, politics, economics, art, culture, or contemporary issues in Ukraine. Students can elect to receive University ECTS credits upon completion of the course.
